FAQ

  • First, read the menu section of the website to decide what you’d like. Then head to the order section of the site to fill out the form to order your cake (or cookies).

  • Cake pick up is preferred, but delivery within the city of Athens, GA may be an option for a delivery fee of $20. If you would like delivery please inquire about it in the “anything else” section of the order form.

  • I do not make vegan items at this moment.

I can make a few cakes gluten-free upon request, and these will be indicated on the menu.

Please keep in mind that I work out a home kitchen that still uses flour, so cross contamination is possible. I do my best to keep items gluten-free.

  • I do not. I work out of my home kitchen with a cottage license.

Pick up location for cake is near downtown Athens, GA. I will send my specific location after your order is confirmed.

Pick up for pastry boxes (when they are happening) is typically at Figment Kombucha.

  • Refrigerate your cake as soon as you get it to your destination, unless you will be eating it within an hour. If refrigerated, take the cake out of the fridge about an hour before you’re ready to eat it. This will make for the best tasting experience, but you can eat it cold if you like it that way, of course.

If you are saving cake for later, make sure to press plastic wrap or parchment paper to the cut sides so the cake doesn’t dry out. The cake will be good for up to 3 days stored in the fridge.

You can also freeze the cake for up to 2 weeks if needed. It can, of course, be stored longer than that and will be fine; the quality will just go down the longer it’s frozen. I usually refrigerate the cake first then wrap each piece individually in plastic wrap for the best quality

  • I have a specific abstract style that I decorate cakes in, and I don’t use fondant, modeling chocolate, or make tiered cakes. I do not replicate other bakers’ cakes or make character cakes. Please keep that in mind when ordering.

If there are specific things you’d like on the cake such as sprinkles, fruits, colors, or flowers (given that all these are in season) I will take those requests into account when decorating. See examples here for the style I typically decorate cakes in.
