Hello! I’m Emily

I’m the baker/owner of Sun Cat Sweets. I started my journey around 12 years ago cooking and baking in different restaurants and shops around Athens, GA. I started Sun Cat Sweets in late 2019 out of my home kitchen as solely a cookie business. Thanks to many generous and hungry people, it quickly grew to include monthly assorted pastry boxes and, most recently, specialty cakes.

I specialize in using interesting flavor combinations with traditional baked goods. I’m always adding a little something special to nearly every recipe. I use seasonal and quality ingredients to make treats that I can be proud to share with all of you. My ultimate goal is to create a little moment of joy for anyone that eats my food.
